James Euless Derousselle is the Senior Operations Manager at The Black Mental Health Alliance for Education & Consultation, Inc, where he leads the organization in capacity building, process improvement and infrastructure. He is committed to assisting BMHA in advancing its mission through operational leadership including grants administration, programs evaluation and project management.
Prior to joining BMHA, James was employed as the Application Support Associate with the Society for Neuroscience, a Washington DC based professional membership association. In this role, James developed his passion for technology and skill as a project manager as a dedicated member of Technology Services division. While at SfN, James became the subject matter expert for their association management system and a technical resource assisting staff in the areas of reporting best practices, data visualization, and continuous process improvement.
James has created innovative communications and branding plans for nonprofit and small business, streamlined processes for large organizations, and managed technology implementations among other operations leadership and capacity building actives. Civically and philanthropically, James is engaged in his local community, partnering with organizations focused on poverty alleviation, housing insecurity. and social justice. James is a graduate of Texas Southern University in Houston, TX and the University of Memphis in Memphis, TN
